(Received and Posted September 7, 2007) This e-mail is to give you notice that unfortunately another e-mail scam is out there perceived to be initiated form the Internal Revenue Service.  The internal Revenue Service will never notify you by e-mail regarding any refund, liability, or any other notice.  If you receive an e-mail like the one below do not click on the link.  If you do the site looks official and as if it truly is an IRS site.  The site will ask you for credit card information or checking account information to process your refund.  Do not proceed if you have clicked on the link out of curiosity. If you do receive an email as such, please forward to the e-mail address. phishing@irs.gov.
